From thrift shop to global icon.

In 1986, a vintage G-1 Navy leather flight jacket was sourced from a thrift shop and customized with colorful patches for the iconic Top Gun film. The world fell in love with it.

TOP GUN® brand was founded in 1996, recreating that legendary leather flight jacket and capturing the spirit of aviation. Today, we own the exclusive worldwide rights to TOP GUN® leather jackets and global rights for a vintage aviation apparel line — flight jackets, aviation-themed sportswear and must-have souvenirs.
